The University Grant Commission on Monday 21st March 2022 has announced CUET 2022 notification that the class 12th Marks will no longer be used in admission for Undergraduate courses. The admission for Undergraduate courses for all 45 Central Universities will be based upon the Central University Entrance Test(CUET) scores.

The UGC India has tweeted the latest notification on Central University Entrance Test(CUET).

The chairman of the University Grant Commission (UGC) Mr. Jagdesh Kumar said that the Central University Entrance Test (CUET) will be held on the first week of July for this academic year(2022-23).

The Application for CUET UG will be available on the first week of April 2022.

For all 45 Central Universities

Previously Class 12th marks were the basis for admission for undergrad courses. Chairman Jagdesh Kumar said the CUET will be compulsory for all Central Universities.

The Central University Entrance Test(CUET) will be conducted by the National Testing Agency(NTA). The test pattern will be going to announce today. Mr.Kumar has cleared that the National Testing Agency(NTA) will make a merit list for all the Central Universities and students will be selected based on merit lists.

The basis of this entrance test will be the NCERT Text Books which will have three sections:


First Section Second Section Third Section

Language

Specific subject the student wants to study

General Knowledge & The Reasoning

The Central University Entrance Test(CUET) will be held in 13 languages.
