NTSE 2024: National Talent Search Examination is a scholarship program provided to class 10th students by clearing the national level exam conducted by the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT).

The NTSE 2024 stage 1 exam will tentatively be held on 4th November 2024  for Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Andaman & Nicobar whereas for other Union territories and States the exam will be on the 5th of November 2024.

NTSE 2024 Latest Update.

Reservation Criteria:  In National Talent Search Examination 2024 the board increased the exam duration by 1 hour, previously the exam duration was 3 hours, and For MAT/SAT it was 2 hours, and also added 27% of reservations for OBC. For another category is mentioned below:-

  • SC – 15%
  • ST- 7.5%
  • Physically handicapped- 4%

How to fill NTSE Application Form 2024: Step by step

Candidates can fill and submit their NTSE application through online or offline mode by following the steps given below:

Application Form – Download the NTSE registration form 2024 from the official website or collect it from the State Liaison Officer.

Instructions on filling NTSE 2024 application form

  • All  details entered by the candidate in the NTSE 2024 application form  must be correct.  
  • Enter data in capital letters only 
  • Write down the details clearly, Do not scribble or make any corrections on the form. 
  • Applicants are advised to submit the application form 4-5 days before the deadline. 

Completion of application form

Applicants must complete the handwritten application form as per the instructions and place their current photograph and signature in the space provided. Applicants are required to provide the following details in the NTSE 2024 application form:

  • Name and surname of the candidate
  • Mother’s name
  • Father’s name
  • Caste category
  • Postal address etc.

Payment of Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay NTSE application fee (if specified by the State/UT). 

Submission of Application Form

NTSE Application Form 2024 must be submitted in offline/online mode as directed. Applicants must ensure that the NTSE application form is fully completed and the required documents are attached as per the instructions.

Important Documents to Attach to NTSE 2024 Application Form.

It is mandatory to attach the following documents with their application. All documents must be attested by the school principal.  

  • Caste certificate  
  • A recent color passport photo

NTSE Exam Centers 2024

Candidates have to fill their exam center preferences in the application form. The exam authority will allot the nearest examination center to the candidate. The address for the examination venue will be mentioned on the NTSE admit card 2024, admit cards will be released 15-20 days prior to the  exam.

Reservation Criteria- NTSE 2024

NTSE scholarships 2024 will be awarded on the basis of certain reservation criteria which is provided below.
