Assam Class 10th Board Exam Will Discontinue From 2024 - SEBA & AHSEC Merge
Assam Class10th Board Exam: Yesterday the latest news came regarding the Assam Class 10th board exam, the Assam Chief Minister ‘Himanta Biswa Sarma’ has informed in an event about the discontinuing of the Class 10th Board exam from the next year 2024.
The Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) and Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) will be going to merge next year in accordance with NEP 2020, where the class 10th exam will be conducted at the school level.
Assam’s education system is about to undergo a major shift, with the Secondary Education Board of Assam (SEBA) and the Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) merging in 2024.
This decision was made in order to streamline the state’s education system and lessen the workload of pupils and teachers. The merger will ensure that students’ transition from secondary to higher secondary school is more fluid, and that their education is more complete and integrated.
