Assam Cabinet Decided To Increase MBBS Seats in Assam's Medical College

Assam’s Medical College Recently on June 13th NEET 2023 result was out and many aspirants secured good percentile. The Assam cabinet lead by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has decided to increase the seats in Assam’s medical college for MBBS course for six communities of the OBC & MOBCs under Rule 2017.

Assam Cabinet Key Changes in MBBS Seats in Medical College

The Cabinet also reserve 10% seats for MBBS course in 6 Medical Colleges for EWS quota which are (Guwahati, Dibrugarh, Silchar, Jorhat , Tezpur and Berpeta). Also reserved 10% of total remaining MBBS seats after 15%deduction from All India Quota, Central Pool, North Eastern Council quota, Royal Govt of Bhutan quota seats will be reserved for NRI students annually.
