The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) 2022 is all set to be held on the first & second week of July 2022. National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the syllabus for CUET 2022 on their official site “https://cuet.samarth.ac.in/index.php/site/syllabus“.

To maximize your preparation candidates may go through the complete CUET 2022 Syllabus and make study strategies according to it. Below we listed the complete CUET 2022 curriculum. Candidates can download the syllabus in PDF format.

CUET 2022 Language Syllabus (Section IA & IB)

There will be one Question Paper which will have 50 questions out of which 40 questions need to be attempted. 

Questions from the Language Section will be from the following topics but
are not limited to:

  1.  Reading Comprehension:
    There will be three types of passages
    (maximum 300-350 words):
    i. Factual
    ii. Narrative
    iii. Literary
  2.  Verbal Ability
  3.  Rearranging the parts
  4.  Choosing the correct word
  5.  Synonyms and Antonyms

CUET 2022 Syllabus for General Test

 

  • General Knowledge,
  • Current Affairs,
  • General Mental Ability,
  • Numerical Ability,
  • Quantitative Reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts arithmetic/algebra geometry/mensuration/statistics taught till Grade 8),
  • Logical and Analytical Reasoning.

CUET 2022 Exam Pattern

To secure good marks in exams, candidates must go thoroughly from CUET 2022 Exam Pattern. Check below the exam pattern to do efficient and adequate preparation.

Section II - Domain There are 27 Domains specific subjects being offered under this Section. A candidate may choose a maximum of six (06) Domains as desired by the applicable University/ Universities. 40 Questions to be attempted out of 50 *Input text can be used for MCQ Based Questions

* MCQs based on NCERT Class XII syllabus only		 45 minutes for each Domain Specific Subjects.
Section III-

General Test 		For any such undergraduate programme/ programmes being offered by Universities where a General Test is being used for admission. 60 Questions to be attempted out of 75

  • Genreal Mental Ability
  • Numeriacl Ability

 60 Minutes for General Test

There will be a negative marking for each wrong answer is 1 mark. Each question carries 5 marks
