Classes 9th to 12th portions restored: CBSE Syllabus 2021-2022
CBSE Syllabus 2021-2022: Restoration of deleted portions of the class 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th syllabus for sessions 2021-22. Last year for the session 2020-2021, CBSE had reduced 30% of the syllabus.
CBSE has restored the deleted portions of the syllabus for the classes 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th for the upcoming session 2021-22. CBSE has released the program for the students of class 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th for the 2021-22 sessions. CBSE had last year reduced the syllabus for students between classes 9 and 12, by 30%, due to hardships faced by the students and teachers in the COVID-19 pandemic. On the other hand, the reduced syllabus was just effective for the current 2020-21 session. Students who will appear in the board exams for sessions 2021-22 onwards are not going to have the reduced syllabus.
Students must have a visit to the official website of CBSE – CBSE academic.nic.in. The board has uploaded the curriculum and syllabus for students between classes 9th and 12th.
The upcoming board examines must note the new restored curriculum and CBSE syllabus 2021-2022. CBSE will start the class 10th and 12th board exams for session 2020-2021 on May 4. However, The students appearing in this board exam will be tested based on the 30% reduced syllabus only.`
“The Board annually provides curriculum for classes IX to XII for a given academic year containing academic content, syllabus for examinations with learning outcomes, pedagogical practices, and assessment guidelines. CBSE has advised schools to adopt learning outcomes prescribed by NCERT annexed with each subject’s curriculum for classes IX-X to implement Competency Based Questions.
The learning outcomes are long-term outcomes of a school system that are expected to accomplish through the entire educational process. 3. The Board has also provided Teachers Energized Resources that delineate learning outcomes by restating them into more precise and measurable learning objectives teachers need to use in their classroom teaching. Teachers are required to write down their own learning objectives in line with learning outcomes of NCERT to meet the requirement of their unique class,” as per the official notice from CBSE.

Does the reduced syllabus is for everyone?
The reduced syllabus is for all students of class 9 to 12 studying in CBSE affiliated schools for the session 2020-21 only. However, CBSE has restored the reduced portions for the session 2021-22.
I am moving to Class 10 in 2021, whether reduced syllabus applies for my 10th Board Exam?
No, the reduced syllabus was applicable for your class 9 only and not for class 10 onwards as you are appearing for 10th board exams in session 2021-22. You should have to prepare for the whole syllabus.
Will board exam 2022 be hard?
The board exam 2022 will have the same syllabus as earlier it was back in 2020. No additional portion has been added for 2022. Thus, the difficulty level will remain the same as it was used to be earlier.
